I just wanted to take the time to thank the voters in the 40th Assembly District and all of my supporters in the disctrict and beyond.
As you probably know by now, we were victorious in the primary and now we have an even bigger challenge
ahead of us as we head towards the general election in November. We could not have made it this far without
the help of the hundreds of people who volunteered their time, money and resources to make this campaign the
success that it has been. Thank you.
In the months ahead I will be working very hard to get our winning message to the voters. I will continue to fight to bring more accountability to the education system in California. I will fight for a more business friendly environment in our state, one which brings businesses to California, increases our economic growth and creates more high paying jobs. I will fight to keep our taxes low so that Sacramento’s spending problems are not balanced on the backs of hard working middle class families. These are the issues I will be fighting for because my opponent shows no signs of changing the status quo. With gasoline nearing $5 dollars a gallon, with California’s unemployment at the highest rate it has been in five years and with home foreclosures breaking records, this is no time for business as usual in Sacramento. The special interests in our capitol have been working hard for their agendas for many years now. It is about time that the hard working Californians in the San Fernando Valley had someone fighting for them. I wish I could say that I could do this alone, but I can’t. I need your help. Please take the time educate yourself about what kind of person I am and what I will fight for once in Sacramento, and I look forward to meeting you and working with you in the months to come.
